Welcome to the website of the St. Michael's Lodge and Chapter, which was Consecrated in 1795 under charter from The United Grand Lodge of England.
We meet in Central London at Mark Masons Hall, 86 St James's St, London SW1A 1PL, almost next door to St. James' Palace, at regular intervals throughout the year. We have a long heritage as a London Lodge, it being one of the oldest surviving Lodges in the City and we believe it to be one of the finest lodges of its time and in addition, we had a book published in 1995, entitled: "The History of St. Michael's Lodge".
Many people are curious about Freemasonry and for many years it was clouded in mystery but in recent years we have been far more open, than previously. We hope that our lodge and chapter website assists you in understanding Freemasonry more and especially our lodge and chapter in particular.
